Mama Fuego Greenwich Peninsular

Sitting on the bank of the Thames by the O2 arena the building shell was a 450m2 double height retail unit at the base of a residential block with no services.

Now the work is complete it’s a unique 750m2 (over 2 floors) Restaurant, with bespoke joinery, commercial Kitchen and Stonework throughout. The Restaurant consists of a Large bar, sunken Lounge, Milk bar/ Coffee shop, bakery and Triangle bar on the mezzanine level.

The client’s vision was that the triangle shaped bar was to be made of polished concrete. The desired look was achieved by our innovative idea of building the bar on site from timber and ply and then covering with fibre glass and a lighter weight concrete skin.

We worked closely with the Architects and client to accommodate numerous changes in design and build to achieve an amazing unique finish.
